How this page works
- How returns and refunds work here.
- Purchases are settled at the counter, so a return is handled at the counter too.
Returns and refunds
How returns work here

Nothing is bought or paid for on this website
This site is a catalogue and a shelf directory. Payment happens in person at the counter, so there is no online order to cancel and nothing to refund over the internet. The counter's receipt is the record of your sale, and it is the thing to bring back with the item.
Goods bought in the shop
- Returns are handled at the counter during opening hours. Bring the item and your receipt.
- Most of the goods here are sold by a shelf's own renter, who sets the price and keeps what it sells for. Where that is so, the return is settled by that seller under the terms posted with their shelf, with the shop helping to make the introduction.
- If something is faulty, not what it was described to be, or was sold on a mistaken price, we will put it right — a repair, a replacement, or your money back.
- For change-of-mind returns, the seller's posted terms apply; ask at the counter before you buy if it matters to you.
Shelf rent
- Rent is charged monthly from the day your rental starts, and your unit is held for you from that date.
- Rent already billed is not refunded for part of a month you did not use, unless the shop agrees — a shelf held is a shelf nobody else can rent.
- If the shop ends a rental, or a shelf becomes unusable through the shop's fault, we will settle it with you in writing, fairly, and we will not keep goods to force a payment.
- The shelf rental agreement you signed governs the rent, the due date, any late fee and the procedure if goods have to be boxed up. If anything here differs from that agreement, the agreement is what applies.
Lists you send us through a shelf page
Sending a list of goods costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If the owner does not approve it, nothing is owed in either direction, and you are welcome to offer the goods again.
Sales tax
North Carolina sales tax collected at the counter is refunded where the law requires it when a sale is undone — for example, when a faulty item is refunded in full. If you hold a valid NC E-595E exemption certificate, tell us at the counter and the sale can be recorded as exempt.
How to ask
Ask at the counter or telephone 7433379506, or email [email protected] with the item, the date and the amount. If your question is about a shelf renter's own goods, we will pass it to them and help you reach an answer. Our location and opening hours are on the locations page, and the rules for shopping and renting are in the terms of service.
